I have several Oncidium alliance orchids, and every one of them is showing new growth....except for the NOID Brassia/Spider orchid I got from Trader Joe's. One of the leaves is yellow, another has some spots that may or may not have concerned me, and the pseudobulbs are somewhat softer than the other Ondidiums. The plant is in an oncidium mix from Repotme and is in the same window with the others. I pulled the plant out to give it a good seaweed soak, and while there are a lot of roots, they aren't green. That could be because they didn't get a lot of light, though being in a clear plastic pot, you'd think they would. I don't know if I am being a helicopter parent to my orchids, or if I have cause to worry. It doesn't look particularly unhealthy. It just isn't growing.
Is there a legitimate explanation for the lack of growth?
