Orchid Babysitter
I have heard there are people that take care of your orchid after it blooms and then return them when it's time to bloom again. I live in Cary NC. Does anybody know of someone in this area that does this?

Wow! People do that. Why would you want to give away your orchid after it blooms?

Because they always seem to die and never bloom again. I received one for Christmas that is extremely beautiful and I really want it to keep living.

We have a local orchid grower that offers those services.
In SW Florida, we have alot of people who are seasonal, so they will bring her the orchids until they return. But, they also have clients that only want the orchids back when they are blooming.

Ahh, good reason. What happens when the orchid dies at the hands of the Orchidsitter?
