recently upgraded from non-IS 70-300 which was what I could initially afford to a new IS 70-300 on my 40-D Canon. Now I've been told that I should have sprung more $ for the 70-200 L 2.8 and simply enlarged the image . I know that the 2.8 is much better quality, but would the enlarged images be better than starting with the 300 zoom?
thanks, Canonmick
