Could this Maudae-type Paph be growing a second bud on the same spike?
Here's my Paph Odette's Vision. The first two photos are showing it off because it's my first Paph rebloom!
But I also have a question...in the third picture you can see that there is a little thing sticking out of the bud sheath, and I want to believe that it is another bud that will grow and bloom, but I didn't think Maudae-types could do this. Could it be a baby bud?
Thank you

It sometimes happens, but I suspect not, in this case.

Seems Maudiae types are notorious for getting more than one flower, especially considering they're single flowered.
If it'll develop two flowers, you will notice. Here are some of my species that decided a double bloom would be nice. My callosum var. subleave, my sukh (I removed the spike because of issues with the Paphs), and my wardii.
This is what it looks like when they decide to really go for it. I think yours might be showing that it has the genetics to get two flowers.
Forgot to add; beautiful Paph!

It is not that unusual although I have only one in my collection that does it.
A few others "attemp" at making a second flower like yours but the second one never make it and I prefer just a single nice big flower on a spike on maudiae hybrids.
You will know if the second one is going to make it or now by looking at the size.
When it looks so tiny like it is in this case, they never develop further. When it is rather plump by the time the first flower opens, then it will continue on and often you will see two flowers open together, at least for a short time.
Then again, if you keep this plant for many years, it might have two flowers at some seasons although most of the time it will be just one flower.

Paphs are always exciting. I forgot to like your beauty earlier, it has now been remedied.
