My surprise mini finally opened a bloom!
And it's my favorite color <3 I was so excited
This one should be an easy ID, pretty sure it's one of those mass produced 'teacup orchids'. I bet somebody has this one. Anybody?
I got it while it was out of flower so it was a lovely surprise to see a bloom for the first time. I love it <3 it's beautiful!

Super cute! Congratulations on getting it to rebloom.
Unfortunately, since it's a phal, there isn't a strong likelihood of it being ID'd. The fact that they are mass produced actually makes them more difficult to ID, as there are so many that look a like. I actually have a mini that looks very similar which I got from Trader Joe's. Where did you get yours? Any chance of maybe contacting the nursery?

Phal. Sogo Yenlin Coffee.
It's not an accurate ID but is the closest I have come. I have this one. It blooms once a year, reliably so. Takes a good bit of abuse. Very tough little phal. One of my faves.

I have one that looks very similar that I got from Lowes earlier this year. I just fell in love with the color and the white edging really accentuates the color.

I thought it looked like Sogo Yenlin "Coffee", too. But I wasnt sure how common it was. I got it at Petco. It has to be my most vigorous grower. It just took off after I bought it. You can watch it grow.

No matter how close they look, you just can't ID NOID.
There are many mini phals that look almost identical.
With that said, I have this very similar, if not the same, mini phal in bloom.
I bought it in bloom for $9 at the Whole Foods a couple of years ago and it is blooming for the second time, and the best blooming ever!
I love this deep magenta colored phals.
and my little mini stays very small, reaching barely 3-4 inches aross the entire plant. love it!!!

Oh I know it can never be given a definite ID. I was just saying it can be called a "looks a lot like".
