Buds on my Superbum?

I bought a Dendrobium Superbum over the summer, and dutifully stopped watering it about mid November. The cane that had lots of leaves on it has been dropping leaves, though there are still a few yellow ones and several green ones still on the cane, and the keiki it came with still has a bit of green on it. Today I went out to mist the canes and found what I assume are two buds on a cane that came to me without any leaves at all! So now what? Am I supposed to resume watering? Do I leave it be for a while longer and see what happens? I thought this wouldn't be showing buds until Spring, which in my neck of the woods isn't until at least mid February!
