If you cut the flower spikes off, their energy then goes to the roots. At least that's how it works with most plants. It's probably a little different with a keiki. If it's still attached to the mother plant, then that energy probably goes to the leaves first and then the roots. Anyways, I would at least cut off the flower spikes on the keikis to establish them as plants quicker. I'd fertilize them just as you would the mother plant or start at half that rate.
