Yamamoto Orchids are located here in the Puna District where I live.
Not far "as the crow flies", but about 35 or more miles by road.
I have kept several of their hybrids at one time or another.
They are top quality orchids and relatively easy to grow when compared to D. nobile species.
I've checked into them and found that they do sell retail from their Puna location.
I've just kept putting off going by to take a look at what they have available.
Plus, I had acquired a copy of my absolute favorite Yamamoto Nobile hybrid from the greenhouse that was going out of business, a D. Yukidaruma 'King'. That took the pressure off to go by their location.

I am a species snob, but nothing beats a Yamamoto Nobile hybrid.
They're beautifully colored and beautifully fragrant.
