Indoor keeping of Ascofinetia twinkle Female
Default Indoor keeping of Ascofinetia twinkle

I wonder if I did this one right. I have an Ascofinetia twinkle. An orchid that's supposed to be treated like a Vanda.

I keep the plant indoors in a vase. In the vase I put a layer of pebbles and a layer of water. The roots hang and rest on the pebbles whitout touching the water. I also spray the plant accoasionally. Once a week I soak the plant in water. It's a newly purchased plant, so I don't know yet if it will work.

as long as you got some good sun and can manage to keep it warmed up during the day with plenty of fresh air, I dont see anything wrong at all that you've done there.

I would suggest soaking twice a week (and perhaps every 2-3 days in summer).
