Default 2 plants in one pot?

I bought this Zygopetalum that is pretty small. I would call it a mature Seedling. I think this might be its first bloom maybe. I don't know. What do you think by looking at this plant.

Do you think it is better to divided the 2 plants or plant them together in another pot?

Photo 1 -First photo is of the plant before I repotted it.

Photo 2- Second is the plants divided. When I took them out of the pot it was clear these were never connected. They just fell apart.

Photo 3- The pot and roots

photo 4- Potted.

Bonus plants are always nice. If they are clones, it is fine to leave them together for a better display but I usually like to divide them. The only ones I haven't divided are the C. mossaie as I do not have room for two of them but that was probably a bad idea as they are not clones but siblings.
Someone told me that the way to tell if the orchid is mature is if the new pseuodbulbs stop getting larger and they are blooming. You might just be lucky to have a smaller zygo hybrid.

Generally speaking, it is safer to not put more than one plant per pot.

At least that way, if one succumbs to some pathogen, the other won't automatically get it too.

I repotted them separate. So I will keep it that way. Thanks.
