Hello everyone! I know it's hard to I.d. an orchid not in bloom but I'm wondering if anyone out there can help me I.d. The species. Would really appreciate care and culture tips as well!

Have you ever seen it in bloom? If you haven't seen it in bloom, you might just need to wait for an identification. Or, you could ask the vendor who sold it to you.
There are many, many dens out there and I am not familiar with most of them. The only guess I would have is an aggregatum as they are quite common and have pseudobulbs about that size. But then, many others do, too. :|

its probably in the callista section, which means warm temps and a slightly cooler dryer winter rest for it to bloom

It seems a dendrobium. It's hard to say what kind of dendrobium it could be, if it's not in bloom. It reminds me a dendrobium margaritaceum (den.chrystianum), but-as I said- it's too hard. Where did you buy it? I'm asking because the most common in commerce is den.nobile, so, maybe it could be.
