Default Masdevallia flowering in terrarium

Hi everyone,

Just had my masdevallia flower after replacing my t5's. They were getting quite dim so it was time for a change - the flowers didn't colour up the best and also the newest one was squished against the front glass.

I have the tag around here somewhere but I can't remember off the top of my head exactly what it is!

Still, I hope everyone enjoys. The flower at the bottom opened a few weeks back and has turned slightly yellow with age. Also there is a spider hiding somewhere that keeps making webs - it looked really beautiful after fogging and the moisture began to condense on the strands.

If anyone is curious, it is growing directly on a cork log. When I bought it, I just de-potted and sat it there, with a little moss to stabilise. Not tied or wrapped or anything. It is very happy, but I wouldn't recommend this if you can't provide the humidity they need
All the moss died because I fertilized a little (I knew it would)... it's slowly but surely growing back though.

And this was the little guy when he first went in:

Is that M. Wendlandiana? One of the few more warm tolerant species.

Nope, it may be either of these two:

Masdevallia Falcon Sunrise
Masdevallia Stripendous 'Beenak' x Heathii 'Dick Emery'

Or a different one again

Thanks

That was an experimental Nepenthes - N.thai. The rest of mine are growing outside but this one needed a little warmer. It's doing fine but seems to be growing all over the place, I'm worried I'll have to move it out soon!

So pretty! It's my new goal to have a vivarium or paludarium next year for this awesomeness

This is beautiful! I am really considering doing a terrarium/vivarium! I'd love to know more about your setup!
