Dendrobium spectabile yellow leaves

Plant has been doing great all summer. I brought the plant inside and placed on a table by south window. I live in Ohio so the sun is not intense. Yesterday I took out of pot and it was so totally root bound that I now have most of the roots separated and the bark chips are soaking. What else can I do to help my plant? I am just sick but I do have a new growth and the last growth is still green. Stocks are not mushy and no visible signs of disease or bugs. I have not fertilized the plant since Oct. in hopes of a bud.
