Mhm I'd say cold damages. It'll evolve.

Il there's liquid dropping, and/or a bad stinky smell, you've got Erwinia bacteria, and you should not touch the damaged parts, cut them largely with sterile tools, and put immediately the cut parts to the bin. Put cinnamon powder on the cuttings. Do not touch the plants before having cleaned up your
hands. Keep it it then on the dry side, and NO water on the higher parts of the phal.

Possible Erwinia I’m not sure; but if is true it is not worth the effort, it would probably cost more than a new plant.
