Heaven Scent Ondo Leaf Problem
By now I's sure most of you are thinking that I shouldn't be even standing NEAR an orchid, but I have yet another problem. This has just happened since I moved plants to our new greenhouse on November 1. We had an unseasonably warm spell, followed by an unusually cold spell with temps at about 40 at night. This Oncidium hybrid is very close to the east side of the greenhouse, but I wouldn't think this is sunburn since I have most of the sun completely blocked by our house (yes, not ideal, but it was the only spot we had) and the overhead light is softened by two layers of shade cloth. Is this cold damage? I wiped the leaves with alcohol...nothing came off. Why are the leaves a mottled turquoise/silver?

I'm sure someone with more knowledge will have more knowledge than I but I have seen something similar on the leaves of my Heaven Scent 'Redolence' but not quite as dense. I assumed it to be some kind of mildew, fungus. That was in the spring that I most noticed it. I took outside and sprayed with Natria a couple of times with no immediate results. Then it spent the summer on the back porch in bright light, even direct at times. I haven't noticed it since then. Do some searches into fungus that attacks plants. I'd also keep it away from your others until you know what it is.
Good luck, keep us posted.

The picture is too blurry to see what's going on.
Can you take a clear picture and repost?

I don't know if this is any better. It looks a bit like a sansevieria leaf. There are turquoise blotches on every leaf. The newest one doesn't show blotches at the throat...where it is growing out of the plant.

No. I can see what it is, but it is just blurry.
Move your camera around a little bit and find a fine focus. In your shots, the camera was focusing on the background (the floor) instead of the plant leaf. You might want to take a half step back and might be able to get a clear shot?

One of these shows the sunburned leaf. I put the plant too near the south window. The mottling isn't from the sun, I don't think. Too much water on the leaves when we turned on the misters?

I am no expert but looks like it is caused by water getting in the leaf. It's like water damage or somthing related to water getting on the leaves I think.
