I believe everyone has had problems with rotten roots. I noticed on orchid you-tube presentations and on my own plants that roots outside the pot look much healthier and never seem to rot. I am goint to try to force two or three plants to grow their roots out of the pot, mounted orchids seem to thrive.
I would be interested in opinions!
