Wow! I can't thank you enough for helping me break the code I'm ecstatic about these hybrids. I've been such a sucker for the heritage Cattleyas lately, and it looks like I got a few good ones in this batch. I can't wait to post bloom pictures here. Going out now to replace the mispelled tags with correctly spelled ones

Glad I could help you out!!

On this one,

5. should be Lc. Carl Bornshine 'Mendenhall' x. Lc John Mossman 'lines KT9X'.
I don't think the word lines should be in the name. Couldn't find any record of this as such.

Hmmm. That is what was on the tag. Maybe it's a mistake? So is it just Ktx9 then?

Sorry, my mistake. When I originally did searches the 'Lines KT9X' didn't show up but that does appear to be a valid clonal name upon further search.

Shows up in this cross posted 05-2014

https://www.flickr.com/photos/199393...-bBL6GQ-ekiwrv

So you don't have to change that tag!! except for the spelling of Bornshine

Oh my quote! I thought you were talking about an orchid hahaha

@SweetJblue: Well that's good news then. I guess I'll have to wait for it to bloom before I get to see the cross
