Mine tends to flower mid-summer as well, but I think, Stefan, that your's will flower if the new pseudobulbs mature before winter. If they don't, then you may have to wait until next year.

hi guys,
i thought that i had better update you on how the brassia is doing. After i checked the roots, i repotted it. The roots that were alive, died, and i checked it again, and its growing tips, but all the roots to the bulbs were dead. i bought a rooting hormone, and put it on the new shoots. Finally today, one is growing a root. hopefuly i can save it.

I would remove the dead (spongy) rotten roots as much as you can without damaging the solid new growing ones. More orchids are killed by overwatering than underwatering. Looks like what is going on with yours. Repot with fresh medium.
