RandomGemini, that is awesome! Is there any condition to meet to trigger the spike for oncidium? Like temperature or light? I have two and have no spike yet. Thanks.

My conditions in my growing space are pretty consistent. It's been 75-81 degrees, 45% humidity and they get 10 hours of light daily from my T5s.

Oncidium Sweet Sugar and Oncidium Twinkle are both open:
Any chance this might be a mis-labeled Oncidium Tsiku Marguerite? The blooms opened up and were definitely pink. When I purchased this plant in March, they were white.
Oncidium Sweet Sugar. Blooms aren't fully open yet, but I have removed it from the light rig and set it on my desk not far away. It's going to give me a better show than it did when I got it. I count over twenty blooms on this guy.

Color can change based on temperature. The Twinkles tend to be smaller than Tsiku if that is any help. :|
Both are very pretty! Congratulations on the blooms!
I enjoyed the pictures as your Oncidiums really know how to put on a show!

This plant is the same size as my Oncidium Rosy Sunset. I've been told it's large for a twinkle, which is why I think it might be mislabeled. When I contacted the vendor they said they had both the twinkle and tsiku marguerite, so it could be misnamed. This plant has about 7 pbulbs in a three inch pot.
Thanks for the compliment! I'm pleased that oncidiums seem to like the care I can provide. I may stick to tracking down miniatures in this alliance in the future as they are definitely my favorites so far!

Due to space, the small ones are the only ones I can grow. I have the two Twinkles, one of the parents, and the relatives, Cischweinfia pusilla and Rodriguezia venusta.
I would love to find different Twinkles. They are so much fun. My unnamed one is in bloom (smells like Sharry Baby) and the other is in bud.

Way to go!! I love oncidium allies too. So colorful! So fragrant! So much variety!
I have Sharry Baby 'Velvet Maroon' in bloom, with Speckled Spire 'Whisp' and Oncidium maculatum in spike

Currently blooming here, I have Oncidium Wild Willie 'Pacific Bingo', Oncidium Sweet Sugar, Oncidium Twinkle , Ada Aurantiaca, which is a member of the Oncidium Alliance, and I have Miltassia Shelob 'Tolkien' in spike again, with five spikes coming up.
My house is going to be filled with dancing ladies once everything is open!
I've seen pics of your sharry baby, I love that color it has. So pretty!
