Default Why I like to bloom plants more than once.

This is my one of my Tying Shin Fly Eagles. All pics are from the same plant but different blooming times.

First pic is from June 2013 and is the second blooming for me. First bloom looked about the same.

Second pic is from April of 2014. Color is more vibrant and the form improved somewhat. Markings are alittle more obscure though still there.

Third pic is from today, August 31,2014. Color is even more vibrant and almost solid, no noticeable markings. Form has also improved appearing fuller and rounder though smaller as its been carrying a seed pod started in mid April. It has however continued to grow more leaves and roots and 2 new spikes.

So even if a plant doesn't necessarily bloom well the first time, giving it a chance and room in your collection for a second or third blooming might prove very rewarding indeed.
