Keris,
Taking your pic I've highlighted in black where to make a cut, at rhizome level between these 2 areas.
You want to cut about half way through the rhizome.
Leaving one old bb will help nourish your new growths as none appear to be fully mature. This should signal the back bulbs to make new growth from any viable eyes on them. If all the p-bulbs lined with blue are new growths keep them together

There is also the option of applying Keiki Grow/Paste to a viable eye on a back bulb. The newest of the old bb behind the cut would be best. Just locate an eye, remove the papery bract covering if any, and apply a every small amount of Keiki Grow. In this case less is more. You just want to simulate the eye.
With either method, if all goes well, you should see new growth within a few weeks!

I was too much of a scaredy cat to do any cutting as SweetJ suggested. I decided to just let it do its own thing, and regain some strength.

It decided today to start blooming
