Told myself I was done picking up NOIDS
Sounds like a drug. Well, I guess in a way orchids are a drug for me lol. I tried to stay clean and only purchase tagged orchids, but this guy was too healthy to be on the clearance rack! 10 bulbs on this guy. Can't wait for the blooms.
NOID addict....

Sometimes I am finding that some of my NOID orchids are outperforming my tagged ones! Mostly in my phals, though. The addiction never ends!

Yes! I was finally convinced I don't need any more Phals after the 2 I rescued both had boring white blooms. Nothing against white blooms, but I was hoping I'd at least get 2 different colors.

There is a reason these plants are placed on the clearance table once they are through blooming and 99% of the time it is because the previous buyers all passed it by when it was in bloom as boring or dull. The unusual and vibrant colors will always go first leaving the whites and blahs behind. Just so you know and perhaps next time pass it by too, even though you feel "tender hearted" and the "price is right". This is especially true for NOIDS.

Welcome to NA, or Noid Anonymous. It has been two weeks since I brought home my last noid. I tried not to get it, but it really did look so healthy! Like yours! Mine was one of those blue phals. I knew that when it rebloomed I would have a nice white phal. It was half price! Huge, healthy and half price!
I also promised I would not get any more!
I feel like a tragedy in the making! Alas!
P. S. Since getting my tahoma glacier, I personally like white orchids. I would love a white cattleya.

I'm about 90% sure this Catt is not going to be white, which is why I picked it up. It had, what appeared to be a faint purple tinge to the dead bloom that was on it. The dead bloom was brown, though, so I'm not sure if what I saw was purple, or just a dark, dingy brown color. I guess we'l find out!
