You can always google image FCC/AOS and see what comes up. But just because a plant received this award doesn't necessarily mean you will enjoy growing it. Some FCC's are on species that only bloom once a year, with blooms that only last a week or two. I personally like these forums and Facebook for finding new orchids because the people can tell you how often it blooms and how they grow it, and they may give or trade you a division.

Yup! When I first came here I fell in love with a Cattleya one of the members posted. I still haven't found one for sale, but it got me into growing Cattleyas.

It is Sc. Crystelle Smith "BK orchids". I've never seen it available. I've called multiple nurseries, and private growers. Nothing. One day......one day......
OH! And attached is the picture that started it all. Owned by user Myrle Diefendorf.

Try Waldor Orchids in south Jersey. When I've been there he's had them. Think I've seen it also on Carter & Holmes site.Plant shouldn't be that difficult to find.

I tried both nurseries when I first saw this orchid, but neither of them had it. I ended up getting a different Catt from Waldor. I'm not terribly worried about it. Eventually, there will come a time when it's available. I've had this problem before, and they either show up on Ebay or someone is selling a division.
