Hi All-I am new to the OC and new to orchids having had them for only 2 years. I live an hour west of Brisbane, Queensland, we are having a cold winter this year and I'm a little disheartened as this is the first time I have had any look unwell which I put down to the low temperatures. I
I have attached 2 photos of an orchid that my husband bought for me without a tag so I don't know what variety it is.It is in flower now and also flowered about 6 months ago as well. The yellow lip turns pale purple as the flowers age. It seems happy in our climate both hot and cold so would love to buy more. If anyone can suggest what variety it is I would be very grateful.

So many kinds of oncidium hybrids! This is a pretty one. Id look into the allaceria, bellaria, wilsonara, carpentaria, vulstruka types. Sorry for spelling I have a difficult tablet now. When I am using my real computer, my typing and spelling are better.

Colmanara (or Oncostele) Wildcat? Those seem to be pretty common.
