Thanks so much! Using Google brought up absolutely nothing. No pictures, or culture information whatsoever. I will definitely be posting bloom pics! I'm super excited about this cross. Thanks again!

Your orchid also has Cattleya aclandiae in it's background so it may be fragrant. After it's been open for a few days, check for fragrance around 10 AM. Cattleyas are usually most fragrant in mid morning.

No fragrance so far, but the blooms have not fully opened all the way. I'm loving the subtle spotting and deep maroon color. When I purchased this plant it had a much more orange bloom picture attached, but I'm satisfied with the deep red.

Keris, Very nice! On my monitor your blooms like they have alot of orange in them. Maybe due to backlighting?

Yeah I had them back lit so you could see the spotting. Otherwise it is pretty hard to notice them. Here's a pic without the back lighting.

LOL, Sorry but it still looks more orange than anything on my monitor. That's just the way it goes with pics and monitors, rarely do they look the same in real life!
