My white clearance phal, snowflake, is blooming on a secondary spike now :-)

it had only two flowers initially due to broken flower spikes.

Fantastic Orchids! Every Phalaenopsis I own came from the clearance section...or as I like to call it the plant hospice section . I haven't paid more than $5 for any of them, some were even free! I'll often find nice ones with just a few missing flowers/broken spikes and name a price! Im all about it! It helps to be a regular and make friends with employees. I like the idea of saving a plant no one else would buy...or saving them from the trash! Almost all of them have rebloomed or sent up new spikes...healthy and beautiful! Its also fun not knowing what color some will come out with!

Bummer. Sometimes they will take less than what the sticker says. I always ask the floral manager, they are usually the only ones allowed to mark them down more. Never hurts to ask!

I love looking at Lowes for marked down orchids. I found a cute mini Phal for $3. I got started with orchids when my Dad brought me two Phals he found in someone's trash. They bloomed for months

Never cheap or on clearance at our lowes. Going out of town in few weeks and plan to check out the lowes there. I've got to find a break, right! Lol
