What is it doing now? Generally the orchid goes through a growth period in which it puts out new leaves, a new spike, new roots. Often after this, there is a rest of some sort. Dendrobiums and some others actually drop their leaves and hibernate. Some just stop growing and conserve energy. You should give them less water, no fertilizer and lower sun to mimic a winter season. Now, this is the way it works for most orchids I know of, but I do not know your particular orchid. The names of the synonomous plants could lead you to better care instructions. There is a forum here for lesser known, more unusual orchids. I feel that you need to post somewhere that an orchid owner who knows more unusual varieties is likely yo show up. There is a director of an Orchid institute in China, and several true difficult plant collectors.
In the meantime. Since it possibly only spikes once a year, like most orchids, it is likely in a phase of either growth or rest. If there is no obvious growth make sure you don't rot the roots.
Another thing is that some orchids "pout" after repotting, and or moving around. They simple don't do anything for a while until favorable conditions are restored. Usually you don't have this worry with well known orchid types, but in some species plants and more unusual plants you do, which is one reason they are not on the mass market.
