I hope you'll post the progression of it. Bulbos have some crazy cool spikes and that is what that looks like to me.

I love bulbos, can't wait to see what this one is. Although...it's blooming pretty early, isn't it? I was thinking they are fall/winter bloomers.

That's why I wasn't sure if it was a spike or not. This will only be the second time it has bloomed. All my other bulbos bloom in September/October.

They must vary. My lobbii is spiking again for the second time since May.

Not all Bulbos bloom during the fall/winter.
Some bloom in the winter/spring.
Others bloom during the summer.
Does Bulbophyllum Stars and Stripes sound familiar to you?
Maybe Bulbophyllum lobbii x dearei?
