Here's a photo of my first paph bloom. Why is it turning itself upside down? Is it in the process of dying/blasting?

It's fine. It will eventually straighten itself up. Try turning the plant so the bud faces the light source.

No, that is what all of them do!
Perfectly normal.

When buds emerge from the leaves, it will be facing upward initially. but as the spike continues to elongate, the bud will bend over and face downward.

It looks like a parvi.
What is it??

I have a few parvi hybrids in spike as well.

Thanks for the replies...Ummmm, have I damaged it by trying to straighten it out by attaching to rod? Should I remove from it from rod and let it do its thing?

...I seem to have misplaced its name tag. Will try to find.

If the entire spike is unruly and you want it somewhat more "presentable", you can CAREFULLY stake the spike, but you don't ever want to touch the bud or area near it because one, as I said, it is natural for pretty much all paph in bud, and two, buds are extra sensitive.

You play around bending it no matter how careful, you risk blasting it.

Leave it and let it do its thing.

Once open, I think I will have pretty good idea as to what this thing is.

It is called Lynleigh in Pink.
It is very similar to Lynleigh Koopowitz, which is a cross involving delenatii and malipoense.

I have a few of these.

Post pictures when yours open.

You will see in about two three days. If it was happy being handled, it will turn brown and begin to wither.
If it stays the way it looks now by then, then all is good!

For next time, may I suggest floral wire or a wire hook?.
