My pool is a disaster! I guess I shouldn't complain about my 30F degree weather. The folks up north must be laughing at us. Oh well, I can look forward to the World show in Miami this month. Just need to bring a fat wallet to feed my obsession.

We hit the low 20's here in Spring Hill overnight! It's just not right!!! The heater in the orchid room has been struggling to keep up...had it set for 52 and the temp was 46 in there when I woke up!

Everything looks fine. I put the Cyms in the area furthest from the heat source...and another spike has popped up!

Another cold night coming, though not quite that low, thankfully

We'll be back in the 70's by the weekend

Winter is almost over

Wow! Low 20's in SHill? My open back yard did hit 28.9F but the front was only 30F without any damage at all. The back looks bad, but the orchids all came in/or were under frost cloth and are fine. South Fla was not nearly as bad...lucky devils! Greg In New Port Richey

Talking THE DEEP FREEZE

South Florida faired better than expected. Those north of me were experience far colder temperatures...the citrus farmers here in Sarasota County came away with minimal damage...I have not hears anything about the strawberry growers in Plant City.

I had ground temperatures that were just above freezing.

I did hit the Selby Gardens again today but nothing there that tickled a fancy...but I am always on the look out for something interesting...hopefully will hit a show soon to take care of my addiction

Woo hoo! Here's one of the 'chids I fell in love with at Indian River Orchids in Vero Beach! AWESOME! When it gets warmer up here in MN, I'm totally getting it!
