That means it has reached it's maximum of light. Reduce the light slightly and it should be fine.

No, it is not a concern, only if it gets more light it will burn which could cause problems. I have Vandas that have done the same thing and when I reduce light the leaves go back to green over time. A little pink color is good, you have a lot so I would reduce the light also.

It is better than too little light.

Yes, high light but better than too little light. It just doesn't want any more than that.

When I had one it did fine when it was often getting that red tint. It died during the winter when I couldn't get enough light for it.

I always give my orchids strong light until I see this tinge then I move them a little into a slightly shadier area. That's my cue when it comes to light. I don't really rely on foot candles in culture informations cause I don't have the instrument to gauge light intensity so i rely on the leaves.

That is a good method. I just give mine as much light as I can without burning them. It seems to work well. Before I got plant lights I used to move them from window to window all winter. It works.
