Hi all,
An update on the humpty dumpty phal of
this post.
I did lose 3 flowers due to repotting and 1-2 buds blasted, but all in all the phal is doing great. At least 5 new flowers opened recently! I'm attaching some pictures for you all. I have two quick questions.
1. See first picture - it looks like it's putting out a new aerial root, but it's coming off of the spike? Is this normal? Anything I should be doing to keep the new root healthy and plump? My other phal lost all of the aerial roots due to lack of humidity, should I be
misting this new root?
2. See second picture - I noticed the underside of the leaves has some dark spots. What could be causing this and should I do anything about it?
The remaining two pictures are of the flowers, you can see the blasted bud(s) on the last photo, as well as the new pot it's now in. All in all, I feel it's doing well, all things considered.
