Question about light

It probably depends on the orchids. Some phals seem to take more shade and some less. I have mostly species phals and they get a south-facing window. I had my hybrid phals in more shade and they weren't terribly happy so I will probably see that they get more light next winter (everyone goes outside for the summer).
Hopefully others will chime in. Good luck with the move and hope your new home brings you much happiness!
