how packed is that moss in there? How often do you water? Do you feed it? The roots look good....How much light does it get air flow?

Can you give any insight as to why the last one perished? This one looks healthy, so no worries just yet.

it needs holes in the sides for good air flow you can use an aim and flame and and burn the new holes into it, out side of course because it stinks. Don't allow water to get into the crown of the plant or the top of it. That creates root rot. The clear pot works because you can see the roots and how wet it is.

I seems to be packed pretty tight. I just got it today. It seemed pretty dry so I watered it when I got it home. I water my others (cat & reg phal) once a week, but they are in bark. Not sure how often to water moss.

I think the other one got too dry. I repotted it bark and didn't soak the bark first. It shriveled up and lost all it's leaves. When I checked the roots they shriveled and black.

There is just one hole in the bottom if the pot now. What is an aim and flame?

I would feed it just like you would your catts. These like to stay damp but not soaking wet that induces rot.
I would also maybe loosen the moss up a bit so its not so packed that also allows you to see if there is any rot in there that you cant see from the outside ask me how I know that one lol.

You could also put it in bark like your regular phal and care as you would a big one.

sorry a lighter that you would light a grill with like one of those long handled lighters lol. Does that help?

I think I am going to leave it in the moss for now. I am a little nervous after killing the last one. My full sized phal took a nose dive after I repotted it too.
I assume it needs to be watered less frequently in moss than bark, right?
