Any hope for this Phal?
Default Any hope for this Phal?

I definitively believe my Phal needs more water. I soaked it in water yesterday for 10, 15 mins and right now I just saw the bark completely dry. The roots doesn't look good at all. It's dry, wrinkly, bumpy. I cut a little bit more until I saw the green part.
It's so sad. I almost can't make the poor thing stay in the pot because the roots are so small. I went back to my Miracle Gro coarse Orchid mix and took more "soil" than bark. Let's hope for the best...
I took these pics after rinse the roots with spring water.

This will be a tough rescue. Not enough root left to keep it hydrated with the low humidity you have now. Use the mix I explained in your next thread. Might help or use all sphagnum moss wadded up and placed among the roots. Keep damp but not wet.
