Zygopetalum still in bloom but growing new bulbs?

It's potted in a 4 1/2 inch plastic pot. I burned some small holes into the bottom half of the pot. I potted it in small bark, loads of perlite, some clippings of sphagnum moss and a few pinches of peat moss. Then later added coconut husk chunks and moss around the base of the new bulb because the baby roots looked too dry, it was after I did that the new growths started. It sure likes to be wet! It's in an East facing window.
