also, seems like the roots are creeping out the bottom... should i just leave them be? heard dens don't like to get repotted and after the nightmare of my oncidium repot I'm wary of reporting anything other than my phals!

Yep, that would be a new cane starting to grow in the first photo. As for the roots growing out of the pot that is completely normal. You find that they will grow rampant. Just let them do their thing and it will be happy.

Agreed, I wouldn't repot, roots doing that is normal (and good)

Congrats Atzau!!! I have some growths on my den, but from the old canes (keikis I guess)... do you know how long they will take to fully grow and flower? My growths are about 4 inches with little beautiful leaves !!

i have no idea! dens are new for me! I'm excited to see this progress through all it's stages. good luck with yours! I'm sure some one with more den experience will be able to answer this...
