A little over a week ago I went to the orchid show in Philly and got the orchid stated in the title in bud. I'm waiting in anticipation for it to bloom. But today I noticed this coming off the spike...

That wasn't there before when I first picked it up. Could it be a spike devotion??

Looks like it.

Psychopsis Kalihi alba 'Green Valley' bifurcates very, very easily. So you might be in luck!

I hope so. What struck my fancy for this one was a few things, I loves the bloom on it, I like how it can grow compact, and it's can bloom anytime it wants to through out the year.

That about sums it up! I have one with five spikes on it now! In fact I had given another friend a Mendenhall 'Hildos' and it didn't bloom enough for her - so I gave her one of these too!
