Default rust developing under stanhopea leaves

hi, i'm very concerned that my stanhopea tigrini has developed an issue. One of the leaves appeared to become dry and curling in; the top of the leaf seemed to remain green, but the underside of the leaf had developed a brown rust color. I removed the leaf, but noticed the other leaves (even the new growth) has developed the same issue. I put it in some liquid copper for a few minutes. Does anyone know what this may be. I'm thinking bacterial or fungal infection maybe. I have it growing in moss, under lights, near a humidifier indoors. thanks

Photos? What I refer to as rust is airborne and normally associated with plumeria.

A very heavy infestation of spider mites?

Does the red rub off? Are there tiny webs?

I don't know anything about Stanhopeas but could it be natural pigment??
For example, I have a Paph. It has beautiful molted leaves and under them they r a dark shade of red.
Ill say it again I know nothing about Stanhopeas though.

Sounds like mites to me, too, in my experience soft-leaved orchids like Stans are pretty prone to attacks.
