I accidentally pulled my mini Dendrobium out of its clay pot today! The roots are fine, not broken. And I have quickly placed it back in the same clay pot, but the surrounding charcoal are loose and now the whole plant wiggles a little in the clay pot whereas it didnt use to.
Is this going to do much damage? I read that Dendros hate repotting...
I think it will be fine. I have repotted my Dens many times (I have several Dens) and not had any issues with them responding negatively to repotting. They actually put out new growth!
I have about a hundred odd dendros, and if there's something I've learnt it's that they LOVE being repotted. Water it straight away, and don't fertilise for a month. Keep him humid and I promise you'll get more blooms! Happy growing
