All of my orchids are warm growers. Almost 50 plants to take in and out is already getting old.

Hi Dave

At 50, they should be fine...for future reference, the vandas need protection first. The Dens, Phals and Catts can take a little more than the vandas can.

It's about 22F here. The sun is shinning today after that miserable storm and winds over the weekend and into all of Monday. We started out at 3F this morning.
I can't .....or my stove will go out. My chids think they are down in the tropics....happy as clams.
I don't have the heart to tell them any different.

50 s are a heat wave! It was 0 F here at 7:00 am today. We actually broke 25 this afternoon. So far, the greenhouse is doing okay.

I have a bunch of paphs. and two phals. My morning lows are in the range of 52-55. I really want some of the multi-floral paphs. to send up spikes! They should be ok at these temps right?

I would be careful getting that low. It was suggested that I subject my roth to 60 at night to initiate spiking.
