How much light for a Zygo Advance Australia?
Question How much light for a Zygo Advance Australia?

I was at the one and only orchid shop in my town buying a few pots and then I see this:

How much light for a Zygo Advance Australia?-zygo1-jpg
How much light for a Zygo Advance Australia?-zygo2-jpg

It smells absolutely amazing! So of course I couldn't not get it. lol I have done a little research but there isn't a lot out there about these guys. Anyone know how much light it needs? I have my orchids one two shelves, the Phal shelf and the Catt shelf. The Phal shelf sits in front of a south facing window (shaded by a tree and tall privacy fence) and has a 2 bulb T5 over it. The Catt shelf sits across from the window and has a 4 bulb T5 over it. Where do you think the Zygo would be most happy?

Thanks!

The Zygo hybrids that I have like bright light. Full midsummer sun would be too much but it should be happy in bright lightly filtered light like catts.

mine are in a south-facing window with no shading - about 12 inches in - so as much light as possible.
You should also place them outdoors ( with your catts ) when it is warm enough, if you can. Zygo's need that day/night temp differential that the seasons bring, to bloom really well. Most of mine had 2 spikes per bulb !
