Default Cymbidium spike?

Hi all,

I was going to wait and see what becomes of this growth but I am very curious to know if this is a flower spike??

Hello!!! I think it's a new growth,,I have 3 on my cym and 2 more on my other cym which grow bigger bigger and bigger everyday.

Could be either to my eye. Mine produces things that look like growths to begin with, then aren't.

if you touch (carefully): if it's compact and hard, it's leaves; if you can fell like little spheres and some empty spaces, it's a stem
