This one is scriptum var. 'Kiilani'. It came to me as more or less an infant with only 2 pseudobulbs, but in spike. The spike aborted shortly after getting it, which really didn't surprise me. Towards the end of last year, it started to lose all of its leaves which bothered me, but there was a new growth. Over the winter, all of the leaves dropped and the new growth became soft and died as well. All I am left with at the moment are three pseudobulbs. Any advice on how to nurture this back? I'm assuming since the pseudobulbs are still green, there is hope that as the temperatures rise and spring brings new root development that it will recover.

these guys have new growth 'eyes' at the base of the psuedobulb....you can take It out of the pot, clean it good and examine the base of the bulbs....if the 'eyes' have blackened, it is a goner...if you see any 'eyes' that are still green, you have a chance....the 'eyes' are kind of triangular, with a pointy end at the top....good luck!
