When I joined the Orchid Board in mid-February, one of my stated goals was to get any of my orchids to show signs of growth.
Hazzah!!! I have growth! Since repotting a much abused Phalanopsis in new medium and using the skewer method and the relative weight method, to maintain proper moisture AND setting up an "orchid room" where I have better control over light and temperature (without distressing my beloved) I have new root growth.
AND...the NoID Mini Cattleya that I purchased late last year just a few days before it dropped its bloom is showing some growth. I honestly don't know what it is, but I am enjoying watching it develop!

I am so happy.
My huge thanks to all the members of the board who have advised and offered support and encouragement.
Cheers!
