Default Awesome!

Letting the flower spike stay on just depletes the pbulb needlessly. Once the flowers start to fade your task is to nurture the new growth. Wilsonara are great plants but not as vigorous as oncids. Fewer flowers but larger than oncids. The will put out multiple new growths if grown well. Specimen plants are easy to get in just a few seasons. Warm, good light, and good water are a must. South exposure is good as long as the leaves don't burn. Nice plant by the way. Good luck.
Again, thank you.

While you're here, do you water these the same as Phals by setting them under the faucet and letting the water run out or soaking them in water for 15-20 min? Fertilizer? Weakly, weekly?

Cheers.

I dip my orchids in a bucket full of water. But I have around 150 now. You can water them however you like but I prefer to dip them. Just get a Tupperware large enough to dip the plant in and water them that way. Let the plant sit in there for a couple minutes although I just dunk mine twice and that's it. You are watering the roots, not the media. The roots are covered with a spongy material called velamen and that's absorbs water readily. No need to soak the media. As soon as the velamen is saturated that's all that's necessary.
