Seems like i ignored one cattleya a bit too much and now it's p-bulbs are all shriveled up.
Will they ever re-plumpen or they are gonna get stuck shrivelled?
orchids take a long time to die, and they take a lot of abuse....the shriveling is from the plant taking nutrients and moisture from the older psuedobulbs to feed the new ones....once they are shriveled up they don't come back, but the new growth will be ok thanks to the sacrifice of the old....just make sure you don't ignore it again! stay with a regular once a week or ten days with a copious watering! good luck!
Just water properly now and the new pseudobulbs won't shrivel as much. I don' think the old ones will ever become full again, but the plant should be ok regardless.
Cattleyas are the camels of the orchid world. Dehydration also happens in nature in the end of the dry season. But rehydration takes its time.
Put the plant in a place, where conditions are a bit cooler and more humid, and be patient. Do not drown a thirsty plant.
