New plants and mystery orchid

It is still winter here, snow and all and I was in desperate need of a little pick-me-up. Stopped at the flower shop, sat and had some coffee and took in all the colors and smells. I left, not with potted, blooming tulips or daffodils, I left with two orchids. Who would've thunk it. I bought Paph. delenatii 'Pink Elephant' and Phal. Brother Spring Dancer '1244' ( Be Tris x Timothy Christopher ) and I was happy.
The mystery orchid was given to me by a lady down sizing her collection and was in tight bud. There is no name tag and she can't remember what it is. I have been giving it Oncidium care and will have to repot after bloom. Does Oncidium care and small orchid mix sound right to you? A smaller pot as well. I would appreciate your input. In advance, thanks a lot!

those should brighten up your day and bring spring a little closer! nice haul! the oncidium looks a bit more like an odontoglossum cross, which basicly requires oncidium care, you were right....the pleated leaves look to me like its been kept to dry....the new leaves should be more normal with proper watering, but I don't think the pleated ones will ever flatten out properly....as far as repotting, yes, smaller medium, but I would put it back in the same pot, just trim the old roots a bit, and put the older psuedobulbs back against the wall of the pot, so that the new growth has room to advance....good luck and enjoy!

Thanks tucker, I do enjoy them and looking at them keeps me from looking at the snow out there.

Thank you dounoharm, that is great info. Since all the leaves are pleated, except for two, I thought they were supposed to look that way. There are six leafless pseudo bulbs, should I leave them all on when I repot? Thanks for all your help!

Yes, leave the leafless pbulbs on the plant - they support new growth, and the plant in general
