Spots on new Orchid
Default Spots on new Orchid

I picked up this little Neostylis lou sneary at a show this weekend, it smells AMAZING!

Anyway, I did a little research but I couldn't find anything that looked just like it. Could you guys tell me if the spots on the stem/leaves are something I need to worry about?

Thanks!

The pigmentation is from the sun, the plant is getting the correct amount of light.

Looks like guignardia. See St. Augustine Orchid Society - North Florida Orchid Growing Look under guignardia. It can be dealt with easily enough.

I agree with Jc. Normal for this plant if receiving higher light. Mine all do this while outside in summer, and spots fade after plants have been in lower light insdoors for a while.
