My Mini Phal Spike with buds & blooms TURNING BROWN!!

Hi Everyone,

My Mini Phal is in Bloom and has 4 more buds on it. However the spike branch has a tiny part from where the bud fell off and now its turning brown and woody.
What can i do to stop it from turning the entire spike woody?
I am worried if i leave it the way it is, it will continue getting brown and affect the blooms and the buds!

Any suggestions are welcome!
